The Baltigo Manifesto
Will you die? Or will you fight? Choose your own fate; is being a hero someone else's duty? It could be yours! — Belo Betty
A Non Profit Writing Anthology Inspired by The Revolutionary Army
The Baltigo Manifesto is a writer-run anthology centered around the Revolutionaries of One Piece. Its intent is to be a non-profit project where all proceeds not used for funding will be donated to charity. As an anthology, this project will be focused generally on pieces of literature, but there will also be positions for artists to collaborate with our chosen writers: spot art or small illustrations inspired by the writing pieces. The art for the anthology is expected to be black/white with shading. One of the most fascinating and wonderful things about being a writer is having the ability to say a thousand things in just a handful of words, and if that's what you do best then we'd love to see it!PREVIOUS ZINE EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED AND WILL NOT AFFECT OUR DECISION.We will not be including ships/romantic content in this anthology; it will be fully dedicated to familial and platonic relationships as well as explore the morals, conflicts, and interactions within the army and surrounding their position.
MODS NEEDED:Writing Mod: As this is a writing focused project, our writing mod(s) are very important. Naturally we're looking for someone with beta and editing skills, someone with a fantastic grasp on grammar, spelling and punctuation, but beyond that we want someone who cares deeply for their fellow writer.●Artist Mod: As with our writing mod, first and foremost we are looking for a mod who cares deeply for their fellow artist; someone who can help us choose our spot artists and support them through the creation process.●Shipping Mod: In the case of our shipping mod we're looking for someone with experience in packaging and shipping large amounts of items. They will be responsible for receiving all physical products to sort through and organize before packing and shipping each order in a timely manner.
#########In general we are looking for passionate creators who are interested in the Revolutionary Army or have always wanted to explore their organization and internal dynamics further. Our immediate day-to-day lives for the past handful of years have been in a chokehold by the leaders of our governments, and what better catharsis is there than to indulge in a project exploring a revolution with the goal of providing some form of aid to a charity in need of it?
Having some type of One Piece work to use as a sample will be a requirement for the contributor applications.

Project Mods
I'm a writer and an avid Sabo lover. I've always been drawn to the RA's ideals and mystery, and this anthology is my passion project. My favorite revs are unsurprisingly Sabo and Dragon.
I'm mostly a writer and sometimes an artist! I primarily write about the Whitebeard and Spade pirates myself, but I'm excited to be part of this project! My favorite revolutionaries are Sabo, Ginny, and Dragon (also Robin; even if she was a temporary member, she still counts).
Long-time OP fan and fully supportive of the RA's efforts. Been finance mod for a bunch of OP zines and can't wait for this one. Favorite revolutionaries are Sabo and Koala!
Huh... I exist. Favorite revolutionary: Ivankov.
I think I'm most known for writing AUs, Soulmates and Fix-its. Especially for the ASL brothers they were robbed of a happy ending and I'm sad about it. Favorite revolutionary: Sabo!
I used to feel so indifferent toward Sabo a long time ago, now my life feels incomplete without this man. Favorite Revolutionary: SABO, Robin, Belo Betty, Kuma, Ginny, Iva- (shit ok I love all of them).
Horror writer, rat lover, general pain in the ass who is either making men cry, kiss or both. Shocking I won't be writing any WBP for once.
Favorite Revolutionary: Koala, Ivankov and Karasu
I love one piece, reptiles, food, and reading. I have a pin business I run with my bestie Devin, called Raftel pins. I have a bachelors in bio and am currently a substitute teacher for k-12, so my PST 7am-4pm time is usually when I can’t look at my phone (especially if I’m doing k-8 that day).
Favorite Revolutionary: Sabo
